Pre-School Field Trip..

Today was Cassidy's field trip to the pumpkin patch! I volunteered to help with the kids and their pumpkins! Cassidy picked the most odd shaped, small pumpkin..
Here they are all in their school shirts, however it was SO cold that we HAD to wear coats!

Cole is helping his little brother Rhett carry the pumpkin he picked! Cole is such a sweet heart!

Trying to pick the perfect, small mis-shaped pumpkin takes a lot of work and concentration!

I tried to get Cassidy to hold her pumpkin and take a picture with her cousin Cole, but she wouldn't have anything to do with it! It is so hard to get pictures of her when she KNOWS you are taking a picture..

Here was the second attempt to get her to pose for us, as you can see she is refusing! Bribery wouldn't even work!

Introducing..

Even though they are not showing their personalities yet, we are beginning to see some really cute characteristics in the puppies.
Here is my sales pitch: Both Dam & Sire have excellent breeding, dispositions, conformation and come from Champion Bloodlines! They will be very small Mini Schnauzers full grown. Mini Schnauzers are not 'yappy' and they do not shed so they make great house pets! They are great with children and are tough little puppies!

They all come with FULL AKC registration (which means they will have full breeding rights).
All puppies will be going to their new homes with a puppy starter kit which includes: Training Pads, Blanket, Stuffed Toy, Food Supply, a Training Mini Schnauzer Book, Three Generation Pedigree, Photo Album since birth their first series of shots & vaccination records, up to date worming, dew claws removed, tails docked, microchip and a health certificate from a licensed vet, guaranteeing they are healthy & sound. We start potty training to the 'outside' as soon as the pups are walking, and we will start to kennel train any puppies older than 6 weeks. We are asking $1,000.00 for the females and $800.00 for the males. We require a $300.00 deposit to reserve the puppy of your choice until they are old enough to leave their mommy. But you are always welcome to come and visit!
"Bargs" is a Black Male with a medium size white mark on his chest. He also has a white 'goatee' which will probably fade as he matures but it is sure cute! He wouldn't hold still for pictures!
"Squirt" is a TINY black male. He has one small white dot on his chest and in between his toes which will also most likely fade as he matures. He is cuddly and quiet! (He is my favorite today..)

"Dewy" is a White Male. White is not a recognized color of AKC in the U.S. So he is registered AKC and if he were to be used as a sire, his puppies could be registered AKC without any problem, however he (white Schnauzers) cannot be shown in AKC dog shows. Dewy has the most darling ears I have yet to see on a pup. He was born with a pink nose and paws.. They are just starting to change to black.. which I also love because it reminds me of a baby polar bear.. To a smaller extent.. Dewy is Cassidy's favorite. She always asks to hold the "wipe one"..

"Fanta" is a Black & Silver female. She is a mamma's girl and doesn't seem to like me at all! I couldn't get her to hold still for pictures! She has beautiful markings and Black & Silver pups always grow up to be beautiful adults!

"Cherry" is Black with some white markings on her chest and in between her toes. She is smaller than Fanta but a little bit bigger than Squirt. She seems to have a sweet disposition and likes to snuggle up on my neck.

We strive to adhere to the breed standard for conformation, color, and temperament, and therefore, have selected our breeding dogs from healthy champion bloodlines. We provide a clean, fun, obedient environment with appropriate veterinary care for all of our Minis.
Our puppies are happy, healthy babies who are raised in our home with daily attention and we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards in breeding Mini Schnauzers. We offer a lot with our puppy not only to help their new family but to help the puppy adjust to his/her new home.
To reserve a puppy or ask any questions please call (801) 754-3633 or (801) 636-0805 L/M or e-mail j_carter_8@hotmail.com; References available upon request.

I will be updating their pictures weekly so if you are interested check them out! The video clip below is of Fanta crying for her mom while I was trying to take her picture. I love their little whine and their growls are absolutely hilarious! If you know anyone who may be interested in a pup please send them our way! I really spend alot of time with them and want to be sure they all go to good homes!

They're Here!!

Ashlie had 5 Puppies! We knew she was going to have alot becaue she was SO BIG!! She had 2 Black, 1 Black with white on his chest, 1 Black & Silver and 1 White one! I haven't completely 'inspected' them but as of now I am guessing we have three boys and two girls. Ash is exhausted! But like before she is a great mom and they were super clean births, which is awesome for me!!
Their daddy's name is Dr. Pepper, so I am going to name them after soda pop! If you think of any unique puppy names that have to do with soda, please let me know!
So far so good.. The first handful of days are really the scariest for me! Plus I get NO sleep! Any way, I will keep posting pics as they grow.. :)

Field Trip!!

Lori and I decided to take the kids on a 'field trip' to the Aquarium! My favorites were the Sea Horses and the Jelly Fish! They were just amazing to see and beautiful!
At least she is smiling??? Too bad her eyes were shut!
It was a fun afternoon!
Cassidy SAID the shark tank was her favorite part, however, she kept trying to get us back on the boat so she could pretend to drive us.. somewhere??
This is Lori, Cannon and Jack! They asked us not to use our flash inside so my pictures did not turn out so great..
Jack is always so good to smile for pictures! He is such a handsome young man! Cannon was such a good sport as well, he was tired but didn't complain at all!
Of course, no smile for my. uh, happy go lucky daughter.. :)
All in all it was a fun day and Cassidy has talked about it a lot since then!

Ohhh.. What a LONG DAY!!!

This was HILARIOUS! Cassidy fell asleep in her jeep! However, she would still hit the gas and drive around in circles! We watched her do it a couple of times before I decided to go grab the camera! Watch the video below. It is so funny! She thinks she is too big for nap time.. hmmm..

Pretty as a Princess!!

Cassidy NEVER lets me take her picture.. I have to either surprise her or bribe her.. This was my lucky day when she FINALLY let me take her picture in her princess outfit she got for her birthday! This post is for you Uncle Ryan, Aunt Jani, Jerrilynn & Joyce!

Playing MAD Cowboy..

Ryann came over to play the other day and they were playing 'mad cowboy' usually that means Cassidy wears her cowboy hat and stomps around and acts mad?? Well, both of the girls climbed into the empty cupboard of our entertainment center with their cowgirl hats and shut the door.. It was hilarious. I couldn't believe they both fit in there! I promise I do not lock kids in closets etc.. when they come over to play!

ALL 4 FALL!!

Rod stopped just off to the side of the road to take this picture! He is quite the photographer!
Some crazy Hog Riders took this family pic of us!

These 2 photos were taken by our aspiring photographer.. she did pretty good! Well, except for cutting off our heads!
Utah is the BEST!! Fall is my favorite season, especially WARM Fall weather. Last weekend we decided to drive the Nebo Loop to oooh and ahhh at the changing leaves. And it was beautiful! These pictures do not do it justice, so if you get spare time, I suggest taking a cruise around the loop before it is too late!
It doesn't matter where we go or what we are doing. Cassidy finds dirt and plays in it regardless of what else is going on.. She loves it??

One of my most favorite places is the Gratto. It use to be a locals secret but they have put a lot of work into improving it and it even has a trail marker sign now. It is sad to see it so popular, but you can see from the following photo's why it is..

I asked some hippies to take this one for us! It embarrasses Rod SO much when I talk to strangers! As you can see, Sis was being her normal photogenic self! All in all it was a really enjoyable ride and a great family day!

Barefoot & Pregnant..

Our little Ash is pregnant again! In fact she is due in just a couple more weeks! Her tummy has gotten HUGE this time! She TOTALLY waddles when she walks! It is hilarious. I am really excited this time around and not nearly as nervous. She was such a good mom she leaves little to worry about.
The picture below is of her walking (waddling).. We bred her to an AKC registered Black Mini Schnauzer from Ogden. He has a really good shape and conformation and seemed to have a happy go lucky personality.. But who wouldn't with his job??
Through the whole process it has made us all remember her first litter.. They are 6 months old now and hopefully all have good families. I have not forgotten how much work puppies were and am not really excited about the messy parts. But they were more fun than work. And we loved and adored ALL FOUR!
So here is a big "HELLO" to Drama (Pixie), Tank-Harley (Tank), Arctic Rush (Wilbur) and last but not least, Lucy (Porsche). WE MISS YOU!!

Playdates with Ryann..

"Lets go Shopping!" Ryann Say's... as she carefully packs her purse with the necessities we all need to go shopping, like cell phone, keys, oh and don't forget the Ba loo Bear toy and rubber snakes, we can't go shopping with out them!!
Cassidy replies with "Nah.. lets go HUNTING!"
and her and Ryann carefully stalk Sheer Khan hopefully catching him off guard! Her dad would be so proud..

School Pictures..

Yes, preschool has class pictures. I know I have said it before, but I am really liking Cassidy's little school. Her teacher told me she was a total ham and her pictures turned out cute! I can't wait to get them. But here she is before she left.. All dressed up (insisting on wearing her pack pack)..

In the Dog House..

Cassidy loves playing with her cousin Rhett. He is younger than her and is perfectly happy taking orders from her. Today we built a 'dog house' out of chairs and a blanket and they barked happily all morning! AND with the chairs out of the way I had just enough time to clean my kitchen!

Sponge Bob Square Pants..

So, after watching a couple of episodes of sponge bob, Rod & I decided that it is not a show we really want Cassidy to watch at such a young age.. or ever if we can help it. Even though we think it is funny, It just has a little more adult humor than we are prepared to have to explain to our three year old. But because we said "no sponge bob" Cassidy LOVES it. She watches Nick so she sees commercials and she has learned all of the characters names etc. So as she was drawing I asked her who she was drawing and she looked at me like duh.. Sponge bob..

Blowing Bubbles!!

Every once in awhile Cole gets to come home with us after school. Today they handed in their homework and their teacher gave them small bottles of bubbles. So despite that it was a windy and cold day today, they couldn't wait to go blow their bubbles! You can't see it, but they are sitting on pumpkins that they picked from the garden for chairs.. Kids..

I am a V.I.P.!!

Cassidy made this mirror in pre-school! It is so cute, I had to take a picture of it. The back says "I'm a V.I.P."
I have been really impressed with her school so far.
Cassidy came running out of her school wearing an antennae.. Yes, just in case you couldn't tell she is an ant. They are learning the alphabet and what starts with the letters etc.
She kept asking me to squish her. It was fun!

Here is Sis all duded up to ride daisy with her daddy. She insists on wearing her cowboy hat when she rides and she pulls it all the way down!

Here they are going for a Sunday morning ride!

First Day of Pre-School..

So, my sister in-law laughs at me because I was so stressed out about Sis going to school. She has been very clingy the last couple of weeks and I was worried she would throw a fit when I dropped her off. She was a little concerned, but thankfully she is in her cousin Cole's class and he doesn't have a care in the world! She picked her 'pack pack' out and it is almost as big as she is!

I had the cutest 'first day of school' outfit planned. The knee socks went clear to the middle of her thigh so it didn't work out like I had planned. Hey, she is my only child..
Here is Cassidy and Cole getting ready to head to school!
CHEESE!!
