Fun with the Cousins!

A few of Joyce's kids spent a couple of nights at our house the weekend she got married.
Here is Lyns and Jarron adventuring to the top of the hay pile in the barn.

Here is Cassidy showing off her 3 year old riding skills!

And Tyler & Rynn also enjoying Daisy's hospitality.

If it had been warmer outside I bet Lyns would have stayed riding all day! She had a smile ear to ear! It was really good to have them visit. It has been to long since I have spent that much time with them and It was a lot of fun!

Computer Issues..

I am just barely getting Christmas posted.. My internet has been having issues, so it was hard to update the blog.. Here is the short and sweet of it all! Happy New Year!

Christmas Day..

Grandma and Grandpa Carter always make a special trip out to visit us on Christmas! Grandma got to wear the hard hat!

Cassidy got a camera for Christmas. She took these pictures of us with it!

She is our aspiring photographer.. She asked me to pose with the lip gloss Santa brought her.
This is Sis and Rod posing for pictures Christmas Morning, 2008.

We hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season and that this next year will be a good one!

Christmas Eve..

It took some bribery to get Cassidy to pose in her new Christmas Jammie's. We made cookies for Santa and read stories.. It was a wonderful night!

Making Gingerbread Houses!

Cassidy and I had a blast making this house! I guess the fun part is not only making it but then destroying it afterwards with your friend..
Jack and Cassidy sure enjoyed the demolition!

You should have seen my floor when they were done! They really turned it into dust!

Countdown to Christmas..

Cassidy made this cotton ball countdown in preschool! It was fun gluing on each cotton ball each day until Christmas was here!

Santa's Visit..

Last year Sis liked Santa, this year, you can see it was all he could do to stay in the picture by leaning in, while she was leaning out.. It is always fun to do traditions this time of year..
