First Day of Pre-School..

So, my sister in-law laughs at me because I was so stressed out about Sis going to school. She has been very clingy the last couple of weeks and I was worried she would throw a fit when I dropped her off. She was a little concerned, but thankfully she is in her cousin Cole's class and he doesn't have a care in the world! She picked her 'pack pack' out and it is almost as big as she is!

I had the cutest 'first day of school' outfit planned. The knee socks went clear to the middle of her thigh so it didn't work out like I had planned. Hey, she is my only child..

Summer Fun..

This is Cassidy's BEST Boy Jack! They have been friends pretty much since birth. They play really well together and he teaches her things I do not think of.. Like hopping on one foot, break dancing and the proper way to get bucked off a bull.. Cassidy is not a big fan of the water, hopefully I will be a nicer (skinnier) mom next summer and actually take her to a real swimming pool..

We have had a lot of play time this summer! Cassidy LOVES her play dates with her friend Ryann. We are lucky that she lives so close. It is sure helpful to me when I am trying to clean house to have someone here to play with sis so I can get something done! Ryann's mom ESPECIALLY likes it when Ryann plays at our house.. She is sure to come home extremely dirty!

Can we say Imagination???

I asked Cassidy what she was doing, or where she was going when I found her.. uh.. dressed up.. And she said "I'm just really busy right now mamma" I thought she looked so cute!
This is Tiger.. He is Cassidy's latest attachment. She packs him with her everywhere she goes! I have to sneak him into the washing machine periodically. Boy is it traumatic for Cassidy when she discovers he is in the laundry!!

Grandma Applegate helped her make this nightshirt! I love listening to sis play when she doesn't realize I am.. She really is so entertaining.

Cassidy's Birthday with Mom..

Cassidy LOVES choo choo's. So for her special day with mom,

we went for a ride on the Heber Creper! She waved at EVERYONE as we chugged passed them.
It was about a 90 minute ride.
I was looking forward to riding in the original steam engine,
but it was broken down. Hmmm..I wonder if it is because it is over 100 years old?
When the train first started rolling along they blew the whistle and yelled 'All aboard!'
If she could have jumped out of her skin she would have!
All in all it was a very fun day for us.
And maybe we made a memory..

Cassidy's Birthday Party

Cassidy turned 3 years old on June 22.. Her 'best boy' is her stuffie Tigger, but what else could you expect from 'Tigger's Mom' .. She got a bug bite right above her eye, I put 'stop the bite' medicine on it to hopefully prevent a swell up right before her birthday, unfortunately she had an allergic reaction to the medicine and her eye pretty much was swollen shut by the end of the party..

We played a couple of games like Pin the tail on Eyore, they had a Tigger bouncing' race in burlap sacks and ate junk food and gooffed around.
Cassidy has since been inviting everyone we talk to, to next years birthday.. Like the mail man, people at the grocery store.. You know just about anyone who talks to her gets an invitation.
Here is Cassidy and her dad.. She was a little pooped because I tried to counteract the allergic reaction with Benedryl.. I just couldn't win..
Here is Aunt Joyce and Rynn. She turned 4 this year.. Well, Rynn did.. We won't mention Joyce's age.. :) They look like they are up to trouble!
Who can resist Davis's smile? All in all it was a really fun party. Thanks to everyone who came! It is always nice to have friends and family around!

Genola Days

Here is Cassidy playing with the "mini-ex" in the sand box. She LOVES copying dad, which isn't ALWAYS a GOOD thing, but is usually really adorable!

It is really nice to live by family. Cassidy loves spending time with her cousins!

We had alot of fun participating in the Genola festivities this year. It is exciting to watch Cassidy grow and enjoy learning about life.
