Halloween..

And so the tradition continues.. going to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

It was really cold this year! But it was as fun as always!

Cassidy & Jack seemed to be more excited about the stems of the pumpkins!

This was Cassidy's first year of actually carving the pumpkin herself! She did a really good job too! I was very proud of her! This is the first year she didn't enjoy taking out the guts though, and she didn't eat them either.. Thankfully!

Jack decided his needed an extra.. something..

Cody was the cutest chick ever for Halloween. He slept the whole time, but it was fun to dress him up anyway!

I know this is surprising.. But Cassidy wanted to be a tiger.. Our neighbors loaned us this darling WARM costume. I had to convince her she couldn't wear it 24/7 but it was perfect for Halloween and she LOVED it!

First Day of School..

First day of school is always so exciting! I can't believe how fast she is growing up! especially when I compare her to Cody!
Here she is posing for me, which is RARE!
And here she is in her class with her best buddies, from left to right:
Rhett, Ryann, Cassidy & Cole.

Cody's Blessing..

Cody was blessed the first weekend in August.
We had friends and family over for lunch and it was so great to see everyone! We loved having everyone come over, brave the HEAT and share the special day with us!

Here is Sis and Cody. He adores her so much! It was the perfect day!

Labor Day Weekend..

We went camping over Labor Day weekend up to one of our usual spot on Skyline Drive.
Cody doesn't care for the out doors like Cassidy did! But he is going to have to get use to it!
We took the kids for a hike just outside of camp it was alot of fun, but the kids got tired fast so we took the road back.. Good Times!
My bro-in law is WAY into hiking these days, so we went with him and his kids and hiked down to the beaver ponds and let the kids play and make "soup" for the beavers.. :)

Here they are standing on the beaver dam, all in all it was a really fun weekend! It was good weather for the most part, cool evenings.. It was perfect!

Little Mule Rider..

The summer has come and gone, and well so has fall, as I am looking at the 10" of snow that has fallen today! I thought I should start to update our blog since it has been forever! Cassidy and Rod spent a lot of time this summer mule riding as once she is on, she loves to ride! This is a picture of Payson Canyon.

A day in the Uintahs..

The flowers blanketed the meadows, the weather was perfect and even though it was a long drive, it was fun to get out and hang out with the fam!

Cody didn't much like being out.. I think he prefers the car ride in the car seat!
Rod built a small fire and we roasted weenies and marshmallows and just watched Cassidy play and enjoy the mountains!
<spanCassidy picked flowers and collected 'pinecorns' for her puppies

One Size Fits All??
Sis draped all of the camp chair covers around her neck and walked around with them.. Who knows what adventure she was having!?
There were so many people camping and riding their 4-wheelers! We were amazed at how many people were there even though it wasn't a holiday weekend! I really value our family time, and I think it is helping Sis adjust to the new addition!

4 Weeks Old..

Our little man is already a month old! He is such a good baby and loves to be snuggled! I can't wait until he sleeps through the night!

Seriously?

We were organizing our food stash and Cassidy decided to make a 'swimming pool' out of all of the grocery bags! She used Ashlie as an accomplice and had a blast!

We could hear the noise of her emptying her toy box, so we went to check on her and no, I do not lock her in her closet when she is bad, however, she chooses to play there!

Seriously, whose child is she?? Small and confined places by choice?

Devils Kitchen..

Just off the road on the Nebo Loop, the Devils Kitchen is the coolest Red Canyon stuck in the middle of the mountain!
Here is Rod and Cody checking out the view!
Cassidy was enjoying taking pics with her camera! It was fun to look at everything she took pictures of! Including a ton of herself!
When you are stuck home with a new baby, it is these small road trips with the fam that help you feel like you are still sane and there is still life out there!

What a HELPER!!

My mom came down to help me do some deep cleaning. She wears a bandana to keep from sweating to death while she works.. Cassidy wanted to be like her, all I had was one of Rod's wild rags (he wears it in the winter when he goes riding or dresses up for something).. Which I tried to tie like a bandana on her head but it was so big it ended up looking like aunt jamima!
It was so nice of my mom to come help! It was nice just to play with Cassidy for a little while! She sure knows how to make Cassidy feel important!
