Rachel & Jason's Visit to the Carter Farm..
It is not very often we get to see Roy's kids. So when we get the opportunity we jump on it! (thanks Kristy!) I was lucky this visit because they got to come spend the day with us and it was so much fun to have them!
Rachel made cupcakes, and then they decorated them (I think they ate more frosting than what was put on the cupcakes).. Then they posed with their completed uh.. projects..

Preschool Graduation
This is her class, one of the few pictures of Sis you will EVER see with her arms folded! She insisted on bringing her purse. I let her bring it up on stage because it was one of the very few times she wanted to be girly!
AND the official Certificate! She has one more year of preschool, so she did not get to wear cap & gown, so we will get to fight that battle next year!April 13, 2009
Carter's Easter Shindig!
Grandmas Carter sure puts on a production when it comes to the Easter egg hunt! It is more like a gather as many toys as you can! You can see most of the kids have a huge bag of plunder.Coloring Eggs!

Farewell To Thumper!
Thumper got her name from Thumper off of Bambi. When Rod bought her she was a scrawny 2 year old. Her ears are abnormally large compared to average mules. So as he tried to catch her (the never been touched by a human 2 year old) kicked him in the knee! So, with that and her ears we named her Thumper..
She is a sweetheart and loves attention! She has been with us since just before we got married, so I am really sad to see her go to her new home. She is going to Fountain Green, Utah. The couple that bought her seem really nice and I believe she will be well taken care of. I do not know if I am cut out for farm life. I love animals, letting them go is a different story!Farewell To Earl!
Because we do not ride nearly as much as we use to, Rod decided to sell a couple of our pasture pals. Originally Rod bought Earl as an investment, train and sell. That was 5 years ago. His WIFE gets a little attached to these guys and they become part of our family.
Even though we love them, it was time to let them go. Earl went to Vernal, Utah. Rod especially liked him because he was so athletic and would go where ever Rod would point him! He was a tough one to get him to warm up to me, but he did finally.. And I will miss him! As does Cassidy, she keeps telling me he will come back from his new home.. Earl was her favorite.St. Patty's Day!
Well, another 'birthday' has come and went! I didn't take any pictures this year on St. Patty's Day, but Cassidy and I did celebrate it by making green sugar cookies and bringing them to friends, eating clover rolls and drinking A LOT of green milk..I love St. Patty's Day. It brings back a lot of good memories about people I consider family, you know who you are! I am probably the only one of us who loves St. Patty's because of it though!

It's a BOY!!
We have known for a month now that we were having a boy, I am just slow at posting the information.. He was such a squirmy little guy during the ultra sound it was hard to get a good profile picture of him. Watching the video below, it is evident that there is no question of the gender! Infact, if by some freak of nature we really do have a girl, the Ultra Sound Specialist said I HAVE to bring her by to show him, because he is SO sure it is a Boy..
